[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

We are holding up ok, we had a 4 day long trip in London last week which was nice and seeing eachother again end of April so cant complain, still praying for a miracle though!

Organising this wedding without a wedding date is a right pain in the beeehind though!

Anyone of you hasn't received their NOA1 Hard Copy yet??? My fiance (USC) hasn't received it yet and it's been a month now.

Is this normal?

I haven't received one either, but that may be because I moved and hadn't turned in my USPS change of address form in yet so at my new place, they weren't delivering my mail there even though I had put my new address on all my USCIS forms. I called USCIS to tell them I did not receive a hardcopy of my NOA1 and they told me I didn't need it and as long as I had my receipt number, that was sufficient to check on my case until I receive the NOA2. THAT is the one that matters for a hardcopy.

Lucky lucky! I was in London over Thanksgiving for 10 days and saw him in July/August before that. I haven't seen him since November and won't until he comes over for good. This is the longest we've gone without seeing each other bc we want to save money but not spending it on plane tickets. Sigh.

Thank you and Wowsers! That is a long engagement lol! Did you realise how long this process was or had u only just started researching it? I bet you cant wait to actually be together after all this time!

It was so weird for us because we started researching what it would take to get married before we were even engaged, figured ####### we better send this off asap so we were kind of contractually engaged by signing the letter of intent but not actually hahah, is nice to have a ring on my finger officially :)

Cant believe saw each other in November and wont get to see each other until your approved? goodness :unsure:

You guys got an estimated date your telling people for the wedding? Im saying its going to be October-Decemeber time btu Steve is convinced we are getting married in September lol

hello everyone! january filer here under CSC.. received noa1 on jan 16.jan 18 our status is in initial review and says A# changed. Haven't receive also a hard copy.but i think as long as we check our status through receipt # there will be no problem. The noa2 hard copy is the most important. goodluck to us guys!especially under CSC that is very slow now. :(
