[June 25th 2012] Met in Person in London!
[August 2012] Steve visits me again in the Uk for our second meeting for just one weekend! [March 6th 2014] AoS Interview - Passed
[september 2012] My first trip to America to visit the love of my life
[November 2012] I travel to America for my first ever thanksgiving with Steves family!
[December 2012] Steve comes to the Uk to spend xmas with my family!

Can you believe its May already?! :dance:

It's a reminder how time does pass pretty damn quick. Five months seemed like a long time back at Christmas but heck - it'll be May and five months pretty soon. I'm optimistic for May/June and reckon we'll all be rushing around getting our affairs in order quite soon enough.

Anyone else starting to feel the stress levels rising. I've got to divest business affairs, do up and sell house , arrange move of me , my stuff and my hound. Not to mention the small matter of emigration, marriage and the (hopefully) final bits of the visa process.

Saw my GP this week who said my BP was up - "was I under any particular stress at the moment". Ohh - let me think.....:bonk:

Hahahah i bet u were like stresss??? Lemmie tell u about stress!!

I mean visa stuff aside, the whole moving country thing is a big deal right, luckily I dont have a house to sell. I moved out of my flat in with a housemate a while ago which helped me start to downsize thibgs. But i also have an animal (cat) to ship over and that is a whole saga in itself :/ Also have bank accounts to close, phone contracts to end. Employment contract to end ( feel sick thinking about it).

They say moving house and getting married are the top stressful life events.

Not to mention combining the two. I hope you have a good network of support?

No - I agree - that spurt of Nov/Dec was either incompetence or deliberate action by CSC to massage the batting average. At some level logic and "fairness" would say they've got to clear 2012 before moving onto 2013. So yeh - May would be nice but I reckon some time late June which is what I am expecting . I guess all of us in this thread will be waiting to see who (bar any expedites) waves their NOA2 first.

Support ? Well apart from emotional support I'll be doing this all myself. My partner moved to the US while 7 months pregnant with her first kid. She managed the entire move which included two huge dogs and a house to empty (then husband had already taken up new job in US) - so I'm having it easy in comparison :-)

Did you never receive your NOA1? It might be that your address was entered wrong at first then and now they corrected it.

Nope. He never received the NOA1. and i just talked to him and said he called the USCIS to change the address so I guess that was all about it ;-)

I'm going back In 19 days. When I return I will be moving June first to my new pad since I had to get rid of the bachelor pad. With work , traveling and always chatting with you guys. Time has indeed been flying. When I least expect it all of us will start a new chapter in our lives.

The weather has been getting a lot warmer where I am, which makes time go by faster and it feels like summer already.

Yeah thats a good point im hoping with the upcoming good weather (hopefully anyway, this is Wales we are talking about) I should be spending less time thinking about my NOA2 and more time thinking about sun bathing....maybe ClockWatch2.gif
