Well, it's the day after NOA2, and now I'm not as excited... There are so many costs I will have to incur from here on out. My fiancee has four kids, so five medicals ($450), five visa application fees (1200$) , and five plane tickets ($5000)... My savings will be nearly wiped out. :o

The worst part is, if for whatever reason the interviewing officer doesn't issue the visa, we paid all this money for medicals and application fees, and it's all for nothing, since I will be moving to Mongolia in that case.

All the uncertainty is driving me crazy.

What would Xenu do?

Not sure if your process is the same as mine as to different countries.. but I have 3 children who will be travelling with me and since my children are under 14yrs old, no medical needs to be done. It may be different, but check that the children do/do not need medical before worrying ;)

In my fiancees case, two of them are under 14, and two are over. In Mongolia's case, the kids' checkup is, unfortunately, necessary.

ahh ok.. no worries.. I wasn't sure.. I can understand your frustrations with all the costs. I have some savings and will be spending it all on fees, plane tickets too etc. I've estimated about $4,500-$5000 for flights alone also.

My best wishes to you and have a happy journey.

Get the tax transcripts here http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Order-a-Transcript

Ask HR where he works for a letter on company stationery confirming his employment (that he works there, job title, salary and start date).

Good luck!

Hello my fellow december filers. This is my first post ever in this website even though I've been a member since last year. Its because I'm seeing a lot of December CSC filers getting approved. And while I'm happy for those who got their NOA2 in just 4 months, I am wondering what is happening to VSC. I check this forum everyday but I'm getting anxious as days go by. I haven't seen any progress on October VSC filers getting approved :( its been two days since there was a VSC approval (well, i'm basing this on Igor's list). But then I am really nervous that the 5 month wait period will change by next month when USCIS update their processing times webpage :( I just want to see VSC filers get approved so I won't have to worry that my wait will be longer. Please enlighten me fellow December 2012 VSC filers, please let me know what you think. Thanks a lot!

Because neither the VSC nor the CSC are very transparent in their operations, it's hard to speculate what exactly is going on there. To be honest, it seems like each center goes through fast times and slow times. Hopefully they will get to your petition soon, but I don't know if anyone can tell you, definitively, what is going on there.

What would Xenu do?

Congrats. Honestly since my parents passed away in 05. My faith was lost. Now I ask for there help in allowing me start a new chapter in my life. Told them is they grant me this I will cover the grave with flowers of all sort. I go to bed lay down and in my mind I pray that they here me. Then a few tears come out. Because I miss them a lot. :(
