Kind of a strange picture when the purpose of him coming to Visajourney is for him to immigrate to the US on the K-1 visa to be with his fiancee, no? Most people would put up their picture or their fiancee's picture. Kinda strange to put anyone else in the profile picture.

I don't think it really matters. It was just a matter of curiosity but I don't see it as strange.

Makes sense to me. He said they haven't met, so they couldn't possibly have pictures together. The OP created his profile and used one of his own pictures with what seems to be a child (could be his child, a sibling, etc).

I would have to agree with JensJrny2Ray though... it doesn't matter. If anything, he's showing more on his profile than most people that come to the boards to drop a "bomb" type of question and ninja their way out.

hi...i am new here........my fiance has submitted 129f petition on 02.08.2012...and my petition is accepted..and is processing....but we never met in person..when my fiance write a cover letter..then she wrote that in our religion oth muslim and christian did not allow to meet before marry...i ant to ask u that will they approved me or nott....i am very thankful to u.

Seriously what do you not understand about no? Who in the world ever told you that Christians and Muslims who are engaged before marriage are not allowed to meet before the wedding? I am MARRIED to a Muslim from a very strict Muslim family and I am Catholic. I can tell you for a fact that is false, I met my husband long before we were married. If your fiance told USCIS that is the reason you have not met is lying, plain and simple. Your petition will be denied, if you choose not to listen, that is your problem. Pakistan is THE most difficult consulate to get a visa from, even with people who have real, true bona fide engagements and marriages. You are fighting an uphill battle to begin with. Your girlfriend needs to withdraw the petition and I suggest you both do A LOT of reading about the visa process, with the Islamabad Pakistan in particular.

Adeel it is possible for your fiance to met with you, there should be no excuse to her not being able to met with you. So from the infomation i have collected on your profile she is not a pakistani. If you and her are really in love than please take everyones advice and tell her to meet with you. I know that you as a pakistani will not have that much option and financial to go anywhere around the world so it is up to your fiance. Good luck....

me and my fiance never met in person ....but when she submitt petition ..she also submit a waiver request.....bcz we never met in person .. if uscis approve my fiance petition and also approve waiver request then my question is us embassy will give me visa or not...i post before wrong topic sorry for..

So, here's a problem, your fiance already lied in her petition claiming due to religious beliefs you can't meet. Now you say you could meet but for her own personal reasons she can't travel. That's not an excuse. Your petition will be denied. You will not even have an interview. You MUST met BEFORE she even sends a petition and you MUST prove you met. It goes within the petition.

What did she send out? If she didn't send anything else, but money, forms and a cover letter the petition will be denied and she will lose all the money.

Is it really that easy Cali420? Maybe you should lay off the 420, the smoke is clouding your judgement.

The consular officers at the US Embassy are trained to know local customs. You can't pull the Islam prohibits them from meeting scam. That is simply not true. Islam does not prohibit a couple from meeting before marriage iespecially in the presence of family. Getting the iman to lie for you is not going to help.

OP, as it has been stated many times over in this thread, the petition will be denied for not having met a fundamental requirement of filing an I-129F petition; that requirement being meeting in-person. For the reasons you have stated, a waiver of this requirement will not be granted.

If you indeed are in the same situation, start reading the guides in this website. This is NOT true and unfortunately your petition WILL BE DENIED.

If the petition was approved, which is highly unlikely, the visa will be denied. You can't just suddenly meet the petitioner at the embassy for an interview.
