Just got the NOA2 email...23 days after approval

So I finally got the approval email, even though I already received the approval notice weeks ago in the mail saying that I was approved on Oct 12. The email says I was approved on November 2. Great. I have already been waiting for over three weeks for them to pass on my info to NVC. I hope that this means that they will finally do it.

It is really frusterating to feel like you get the slow end of every step in the visa process...

Here is what the email said:

This case has been approved. On November 2, 2006, an approval notice

was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this

notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your

address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business

hours.

Do not feel alone, I have exact same dates and responses from CSC. I feel like it always takes the longest time possible, but it is getting there........ Also, your file is probably already on its way to Managua. They have no record of my file being received at NVC using the automated service, but I called on Friday and spoke to a person and they said it is being sent to Managua soon, very good news. Yours and mine are probably in the same mail going to Nica.

Thanks mike. That makes me feel better. I am going to call NVC right now and try and talk to someone. I also hope the Embassy in Mga doesnt take too long to get the interview going.

Best of luck to you, it is starting to sound like quite a few in this situation are learning their cases silently went through NVC and are now at or on the way to the proper consulates...

Ok hopefully this makes you feel better, I am now in the category of those who just learned NVC does/did have our approved petition and is sending it along to the proper consolute... I just got the NVC letter in the mail.

CSC must have had a major glitch in their Windows 3.1 system!

My guess is you are experiencing the same thing! Good luck!
