Similar Case numbers getting approved

I have made a list of i129F case numbers close to mine. I have seen movement since yesterday. 2 have been approved, 2 have got RFE. 3 status changed today , 1 status changed yesterday. I also remember seeing the status of one particular case number going from initial review to rfe ( in last 10 minutes)

Does it mean they are working on the box having our file or is there no correlation ?

Most likely yes but I have a friend who did the same thing you did they approved everyone around her except case before her, her number and the case after her. It took her another two weeks to finally get approved nothing happened until she got a service request. I think you should call and inquire you don't want to have been overlooked by accident or anything. Good luck

What it means for sure is that thy are working on those case files. I guess you would have to assume that case file numbers are issued sequentially, which makes sense. Not sure if they actually put them in a box but it also makes sense.

The website says they are processing May 28, 2012 so as an early June application yours may be getting close.

Either way if it's making you feel better and it helps pass the time then I say keep looking and keep hoping.

Good idea! After I saw this, I did the same. There was quite a bit of movement around mine today. How far above and below your number did you go?

My list has total of 12 case numbers.

Of course it increases hope of getting a quick approval :)

I think I went a bit overboard with mine. Lol. I went 100 numbers before mine and 100 after. There were 88 K1s including mine and about 30 of them have either been approved or issued RFEs.

Out of the 12 in my list 8 have been approved or have had rfe. Last update was on 7th. All case numbers in +-3 range of our case number have seen result. Did they just skip over our petition ? For once we were hoping to be the lucky people who got it early. Hehe. Well the wait continues. Sorry about the rant.

what the uscis told me when I called the reason your case is not getting approved and everyone else around you is because your petition was sent to a different office with in the vsc and they have not gotten to your petition. I am a June 7th filer and it is seriously getting aggravating. Thought just keep strong and it will get looked at soon!!
