ok, I will keep you guys posted.I sent in a postal money order, how do I check if they cashed a postal money order? or maybe I cannot check that.

I got the NOA1 today (i-130 and i-485)Two different case numbers and its showing online :D IM happy about that.I am however wondering why they sent back the money order of $380 which was supposed to pay for my work permit application(1-765) which i did not receive an NOA1 for(not yet anyway,maybe one is on the way).Is it that I am not required to pay a fee due to the fact that I am married to a USC? Or is it that I was not supposed to apply for a work permit? That kinda confused me, if anyone has insight on the possible reasons for that, please share. Thanks and all the best to everyone else who is waiting too!

Day 1 December 19,2012 - Mailed Package (i-130,i-485,i-765)

Day 3 December 21,2012 - PO tracking number says package delivered

Day 6 December 24,2012 - application received by USCIS(this is also the priority date)

Day 20 Jan 7, 2012 - received an NOA dated Dec 24th,2012 stating that I sent too much money so they returned a money order:)(there was no case#)

Day 21 Jan 8, 2013 -received NOA1- with receipt/case numbers for(i-130,i-485)notice date was Jan 2,2013.

(case is being processed at the National Benefits Center)

Day 25 Jan 12,2013- received NOA biometric appointment for Jan 23rd! notice date was Jan 7th

Day26 Jan 13,2013- received NOA1 receipt number for i-765(was sent to my neighbours due to wrong address)

Day 27 Jan 14,2013- got an email notification that a request for evidence has been mailed out for my i-485

Day 31 Jan 18,3013- received RFE letter for i-485 in the mail dated jan 11(i have 87days to send in docs)

Day 36 Jan 23,2013- Biometrics Done!

Day 41 Jan 28,2013- Mailed RFE

Day 48 Feb 4,2013- USCIS received my RFE

Day 59 Feb 15,2013- USCIS approved my i-765 work permit!!!

Day 64 Feb 20,2013 - interview will be scheduled soon/ work permit card production in process!!!

Day 71 Feb 27,2013 - got work permit card today!

Day 81 Mar 9, 2013- got letter with interview notice for April 10th

Day 113 Apr 10, 2013 - APPROVED I-130/ I-485 interview day!!!

Day 121 Apr 18,2013 - Got GREEN CARD!!!!! God is good!

I check at least 3 times a day! I am almost at 40 days and I have seen people approved at 40, 49, 59 days so I keep hoping I will get lucky too.. I know the chances are slim but I pray for under 3 m

I have also filed my i-130 on December they received it at the Chicago lock box on the 21'st but i still didn't receive a hard copy of the NOA1 but i took my case number through the phone i still don't have estimates on when i could get approved. i Wish luck to every body. :D

Ok, so who else checks online every day to see if anything has happened with their case? (even though we know that it is realistically too soon for an approval to be there yet). And i check my timeline here at vj to see if my predicted adjudication dates have changed at all. :blush:

USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

03/11/2013: NVC received (31 days from NOA2 at USCIS till received at NVC )
03/25/2013: NVC Case no. assigned

Hi everyone, I got my NOA1 Email on dec 21 but still haven't recieved a physical copy of our NOA1 in the mail. Should I get worried? They withdrew the amount from our bank account in dec 24. Like everyone else I am constantly checking our status everyday too!

Nobody who filed after August 15 has a good estimate for approval date. All our forms got sent to different local offices with different processing times and conditions. The local offices don't even update their progress information online anymore, I heard.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

I filed my petition on December 7, 2012 and got noa1 on December 14 with priority date on December 12, 2012.

And I got MSC number..

Anyone?

Hello everyone!

I applied in Dec. with an NOA1 notice date of 12/24/12 and priority date of 12/21/12. Just joining the group.

By the way, is the priority date the one that we measure from, or the notice date?

Good luck to all of us! From what I'm reading, it seems like the NBC is moving quickly!

Just want to know what would be the next steps. We filed on Dec 17th and got our NOA1 on Dec 21. Last Touched date on system is Dec 20. File is at NBC with MSC case id.

I know we wait for NOA2, but what happens after NOA2. I am Canadian resident (PR) and Indian citizen, my wife (petitioner) is US Citizen.

I believe my NVC stage would be in Canada (Montreal NVC). Also what documentation we need to be prepared for.
