Hey I am new to this site...

Iam looking for help. I am a US citizen and asked for my husband. His i-130 has been approved on Nov,30,2012.

I was just wondering what we should expect to go thru after being approved.

Am guessing that it is send to NVC but then what after that? Thnx

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Ok so NVC is next..... and approx how long is that prosses?

How long will we have till having to exit the USA for the Waiver and all that??

Am thinking it depends on how fats we send the documents and answers right? but after that how long do we have? :)

Congrats...while preparing for NVC there are 2 things that really help....one is follow the monthly nvc filers threads. the first posts are super overwhelming, but all the info is there. So Go to http://www.visajourn...-december-2012/

Depends. Usually a couple of months from what I've read.

From what I've been able to tell the NVC will take as long as you let it. If you're prepared and know the short cuts you can speed through there in as little as a month, some people have even done it in less. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut one of the guides to how to speed through NVC.
