Living in midwest is kinda mild between too cold and too hot. I just wish to have snow here soon. Last year, we barely had snow here. First time I had snow here in US was during my husband's birthday on October. We were in Galena, IL.

I rather have low temp than high temp. :-P

Sitting in Manila now at 7:30am and it is 26C (79F) and it is 1C (33F) back home. My poor wife is going to freeze even though she complained about how hot it was last night. I am glad to miss a good chunk of Winter by staying in Manila this month. It is rather cruel of me to bring Michelle into the freezing Midwest in the beginning of January but at least this way it will only get better for her as the year progresses.

Don't worry, the snow will be here soon enough :help: This is just a small part of our driveway we have to keep clear of snow!

If you really want to be mean, tell her this is the hot time of year when you arrive in January

She already knows better. Our summers are often 35C+ (95F+) which is warmer than she's used to in Manila so she'll be upset about the heat as well. :D

What scared my wife was the hearing it got to 46c here in the summer. When the heat arrived she found it wasn't all that bad... after all its a DRY HEAT!

Haha, ya right. It's still 46C.. I worked in Sharjah for a few months and it would hit close to 150f, that dry heat dries all the damm water out of you and cooks you like a prune! Stay thirsty my friends..

Weathers nice now, highs are only about 28C, of course now the over night temps are dipping down to 6C and soon will be 0C. Great riding weather!

I rode through Death Valley a few years back, it was 130F .... in the evening!
