To me it seems like you got one of those "bogus RFEs" that they sent out just to postpone working on the case. We sent almost exactly the same stuff (except I did not include any pictures whatsoever)

Are you sure they got your rfe packet. It shouldnt really be taking this long. I would try to call and see as its been over six weeks since you replied to the rfe. And try to figure out if your packet

Have couple of question.

My GC expiration date is March 14, 2013 so window for renewal opening up tomorrow 12/14/2012 and sending to California processing center.

Q1: Its a P.O. Box address will USPS, Fedex or UPS Take the package for next day delivery?

Q2: Is it OK to send tomorrow for delivery Friday when "Window" opens up or should I send Friday for Delivery Saturday.

I'm afraid to send too early but also do wanna miss a day if I dont have to wait

Hi Everyone

#1: Send USPS Priority Mail. You're going to wait for many months, does 1 day make a difference? It'll get there just fine with Priority Mail (use Express if you are so inclined, but I don't like doing it personally)

#2: Again, does 1 day make a difference considering you'll wait half a year or more for a decision? I guess if it's that important to you better send it out bright and early tomorrow, Express Mail and all.

In any case, it'll take a day for delivery and a day or two for the processing, so your NOA1 will be 1-2 days from the day the receive it, so you should be fine.

Seems like next week some of us in VSC and with NOA1 in the beginning of Dec should start getting Biometrics letters..... let's hope it's soon.... last time my wife had to go take her fingerprints taken 4 times, and all 4 times the people at the place just kept hitting "override" instead of trying to get a better print... so that complicated things a bit and we had an interview (albeit an easy and fast one)...

Still waiting...Does anybody have any idea how long is the waiting period for NOA? :help:

Within a week you should have it. That's usually the case. So any day now.

Also got my Biometrics appointment today! Dated 12/11/2012, appointment is for 12/26/2012.

Thank goodness I already took that day off and thank goodness there apparently is an application support center nearby which I didn't know about. I live in RI, but work in Boston, so going into Boston on my day-off would have been really, really, really sad for me. Haha. :hehe:

Got the biometrics appointment letter today. Scheduled in Austin,Texas on January 3, 2013. Too bad we are going to be in Ireland then. My wife is going to walk in early next week, from what I've read it should go smoothly she just might have to wait a little longer if there are others with appointments. I'll update next week when she goes.
