You don't need to set-up an appointment at St. Luke's. Medical exam is on a first come, first served basis. You can go to SLEC as soon as you have your interview appointment letter.

Yes, you can decide when. Just make sure that you don't have your menstruation when you go to SLEC. Do the medical after your monthly period.

Don't do it too close to your interview date because SLEC will still forward your medical result to USEM. Siguro, sagad na yung magpa-medical ka 2 weeks BEFORE your interview.

Now I'm done scheduling my appointment for Interview but I need help on how I can set an appointment for my medical at SLMC. Your response are highly appreciated, thanks..

You can just walk in to St. Luke's, fist come first serve. But it would easier to fill up their online registration than doing it inside the clinic. Less hassle and you can save more time. :)

Dis is da Pinay forum... don't need no stinkin' English...

Totoo!

Try to get your medical done at least two weeks ahead of time. Arrive as early as possible. Even if you live in Manila it might be a good idea to stay the night at one of the local hotels just to avoid a long jeepney ride in the wee hours of the morning.

One week out for the medical is more than fine.

While I agree in principle, two weeks is what the Embassy officially recommends (at least the was what I was told when I called to move my wife's CR-1 interview). I know a few people that had their medical less than a week from their interview. Most of the time it is fine.

Ya and the embassy says they will send out packet 3 (K-1 visa) which NEVER arrives and actually is all online now a days.

Reality is many here on VJ do the medical less than 2 weeks before the interview. Maybe for IR/CR-1 its different, but with the K-1 once NVC hands out the MNL# its rock 'n' roll time!
