Hi everyone we file Nov 1st and sent our package to Dallas lockbox. From there it was sent to Vermont. I know we still have a ling wait but I have a question on my form at the very bottom of I129F on

box 20. your fiancee will apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate at:

I wrote down Guadalajara thinking we could get it there, but I know now that it can only be in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. How do I correct that? Can I give them a call right now to correct it or should I wait until they touch our case and send our NOA2 so they can send it to Juarez instead of Guadalajara?

When your petition is approved and sent to the NVC, they will send it to the correct interviewing embassy/consulate. They should then send you a Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs informational letter to that effect.

Please bear in mind, it is their ballgame, their ballpark, and their rules….

Good luck on your visa journey.

i had made the same mistake too, but after abusing the search box and posting a thread i found that only Cd Juarez will process the K1 visa. However, I did read that some other people put the wrong consulate location there and still were forwarded to Cd Juarez, I hope the same thing happens to yours! Good luck!

Great thank you so much!!! I just don't want them to send it to Guadalajara and for the case to just sit there for awhile until they realize it has to go to Juarez! lol thank you so much for the info
