On Oct 21st, I received via snail mail the NOA2 Approval of our petition. I just happened to log into the USCIS website and checked my case. It looks like it was touched today. I then checked further and it said that our case was approved today Nov 2. I then checked my email and saw 5 emails it said the following. Why would I get the approval via snail mail two weeks ago, then get this notice today? It someone at USCIS wacko or is it me.:wacko::wacko:

aclassic,

The hard copy NOA-2 (form I-797) is the most important piece of the K-1 approval process. Some time ago, the case status and E-mails were first. My guess, the flurry of approvals has USCIS out of sequence.

You have the paper NOA-2, so forget the rest...

Don't worry.... the emails and the snailmails don't match all the time. Just be happy that you got approved :)

aclassic,

So, you've learned that the USCIS customer notification systems are not all that reliable.
