Im really over this immigration process. My petition was approved on October 29th and still not sent to the NVC. Whats even more.frustrating is it seems that nobody on this site had to wait this long. USCIS is the worst. The retarded reps says it takes up to.90 days..Really? And the supervisor says it will be sent directly to Kingston without being sent to NVC. Then the tier 2 says it takes 30 days. I havent seen it take so long for anyone yet. Whats the point of getting an expedite approved n then have to wait til God knows when to get.it sent to NVC. I feel.as if my paperwork is just lost.

it should take 15 business day for the NVC to receive it...or less..

give it few more days.maybe because of the holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!

your petition has to go to the NVC first then to kingston.

You should feel lucky. You were granted an expidite. Your NOA 2 came in 54 days. My case took 408 days and many others have waited much longer then you.

The last step in the USCIS process is to assign a bar code to the case. The cases are forwarded to NVC or possibly the embassy soon after that event. If they were sent to NVC they will be scanned into the system and reviewed in time. In my case this took forever and I never found out why. If you were lucky twice yours are on the way to the embassy. Try asking the embassy to track them by using the case number you have. Your docs arent lost just as mine were not lost.

Even though I am not a K1 my petition sat unknown to me or NVC at CSC for 28 days before I called CSC put in a service request when they said, Oh your case is still here you want us to send it to NVC. So on the 31st day it arrived. 31 days after NOA2. So yes it can happen.

After 15 business days you cab put in a NVC inquiry request where they will say yes its here no it isn't. Sorry for your delay I know its a ughhhhh pain.

Hang in there FB14!!! We all know how frustrating it is. Start getting the other documents together. Have him start getting his non-impediment and police report. Start getting your packet together. Get him to sign and return the DS-230. The quicker you get these things in place...the quicker you can get that interview date. It will soon come!!!

Thanks. Is the Ceritifcate of Non Impediment really necessary? I was told by many that they really dont ask for it. Someone from the embassy said that to someone I know. But, you are right, I will start getting the other stuff together. Also, I'm planning to get the interview expedited as well. Thanks for the words of encoragement.

Required?....yes. Regardless if they look at it or not...bring whatever they ask for. Be organized and prepared.
