Hello fellow VJ.com friends, this site has been such an inspiration to me and my fiance in the Philippines! I have read so much here..,.,.but I need a clear answer to one question and any comments from my friends would be appreciated!

I have read here where that the (very slow.,and why?) VSC asked one of our mmebers for and ""ORGINAL COPY OF A MEMBER'S DIVORCE PAPERS""..,.,. I have put together an entire book of evidence, of all the things needed for the interview when I was there, in the Philippines, in October, as our date should come sometime in December, ""SHE HAS THE ORGINAL COPIES OF THE ORGINAL DIVORCE PAPERS, as I sent "copies" of the divorce papers to the VSC..,., I am right or wrong or somewhere in the middle?

Just a short comment, VSC certainally seems to be on a faster track to approve K 1 visa's, or is that just wishful thinking on my part? To all my friends, have a good evening! Raven

I have seen the term "Certified copy" of divorce decree posted many times. I have obtained a certified copy from the Court in my County. It was a little extra for them to stamp "Certified" on it! Ugh..

Also, from what I have read, the divorce decree is not needed for the interview, but CFO has been known to ask for it!

Hope I read your question right and that helps!

Also, good luck on NOA2!

Thanks my friend, it seems your journy is just beginning..,.,., the first 4 months you will no think much about it..,.,but when you approach where I am 5 months.,.,.,.you just cannot get enough information..,.,.,it is though the last month! Just some advice for a fellow member. My divorce papers I sent were copies that had all the offficial stamps, dates and signatures, of the county courts..,.,.,.just do not know what to expect with my orginal copies in the Phillipines with my fiance, for the interview! Do you see VSC speeding up.,.as I think I do? Raven

Thanks for the advice my friend! I hope that my journey goes as smooth as it appears yours has. No RFEs *fingers crossed* Paperwork will be sent in by the end of this month and I have been a SPONGE trying to soak up all this site has to offer.

I might have misread your question and I apologize. I'm sure other members here will be able to help you out.

I think you're right though, VSC appears to be speeding up and hopefully you will have NOA2 very soon!

Take care and good luck!
