QUESTIONS regarding interview documents...

hi VJers! i have been reading topics regarding interviews but i cant seem to find answers to my questions so i decide i will post questions : we didnt make copies for ds-230 and AOS sent it all to nvc, can nvc send us copies of all documents we sent? when they send interview notice via email or snail mail are they going to send my wife copies of some documents she needs to bring to the interview? i called but right now their office is close for the day so i might as well ask here and call tomorrow cause i wanna know ahead of time.

There is really no need to call them (the way I see it) because all these information are available in their web site. They would also enumerate the documents your wife would need in their official notification of approval and interview for your wife. Timeline

The interview letter which they will email to you will list the things that you need for the interview. They wont send you copies of anything.

As a back up most people take copies of the items which they have already sent to NVC when they are going to the interview in case something is missing from the file. Sometimes the CO does not look through the file properly and may miss something that really is there.

Petitioner LPR upgraded to USC June 22, 2012
August 22, 2012: case complete
October 18, 2012: Interview (APPROVED)
October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)
