How to Download/Print Skype Call Log

I have asked myself the same question before, and the only solution I have is to copy and paste ALL of the text/call logs from the skype text messaging screen into an excel document. From there I sort the data based on the text. I then can easily go through and delete huge chunks of all of the conversation/messages that are really unimportant and just leave behind the "***Call from Ashley to Zhenya**** with the date and such." I have a lot of experience using excel, though, so this may be tricky for you... and I don't really know how to teach someone online how to sort data and such. Hopefully you can figure it out if you play around with it enough. If NOT, then you can just print out all 43 pages or so of whatever conversations you have had on skype... but this is not really practical. Also, make sure to copy calls from ALL the computers you use. I have two computers and my skype only records the calls made from THAT specific computer (even though it DOES show text messages from BOTH computers... strange.)

Good luck!

^^Sounds like a good idea but on the contrary you could also do one thing, open up skype and hit F11 to make it full screen and then hit the print screen key > start > Accessories > Paint..over there paste it and click on save as jpeg file on the destination. (If u r using Windows except win 8, dunno about Mac)

If I had to copy paste the skype logs it is gonna be 100 pages plus so I took a print screen of the important chat logs and still its 30. I reckon that would be more than enough.

It's what I did:

1. Download this software - SkypeLogView (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/skype_log_view.html)

2. Choose tab "Options" and only tick first three lines (Chat message, incoming/outgoing call)

3. To fit the width of the A4 Page, right click on content and click "Choose Column"

4. Tick "Action Type", "Action Time", "User name", " Display name", "Duration" , "Chat message"

5. Save in .xml format and open it in certain browser. Copy all to Word Office

6. Edit its content same as table format, as long as it's easy to read.

That's all :)

Hope it help ^^
