The DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application form, is for temporary travel to the United States, and for K (fiancé(e)) visas. Form DS-160 is submitted electronically to the Department of State website via the Internet. Consular Officers use the information entered on the DS-160 to process the visa application and, combined with a personal interview, determine an applicant’s eligibility for a nonimmigrant visa.

Visa applicants must submit a completed DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application for all nonimmigrant visa categories, including applicants applying for K visas.

NOTE: For K visa cases in process at a U.S. embassy or consulate, the DS-160 is not required when, prior to October 7^th, 2013, one of the following situations exist:

• The K visa applicant is already scheduled for an interview.
• The K visa applicant has already been interviewed and has been requested to submit additional documentation or is pending administrative processing.
• The K visa applicant has already submitted a valid, signed, unexpired DS-156, DS-156K and/or DS-230 or received instructions to do so.

Buscando lo de la forma DS-160 encontre lo siguiente:

Hola Sandra como asi ke las formas hay ke llenarlas en ingles, menos mal ke solo las habia hecho en borrador, gracias briget por hacer esa pregunta

Sandra una pregunta resulta ke mi novio llamo hoy a la nvc y le dijeron ke el caso lo habian mandado hoy a la embajada, cuanto se les demoro en llegarle el correo a tu novio diciendoles cuando fue enviado y cuanto se les demoro en llegar el paquete, estoy muy anciosa ps mi cita ya esta muy cerca y no la kiero perder ps estan muy lejos por fa si alguien sabe de este paso ayuda

ya te llego el pquete de instrucciones, porque segun lo que indican en la pagina es que si a ti ya te llego el paquete con instrucciones o tienes tu cita, no debes presentarla, ya que esta notificacion salio el 07 de octubre de 2013.

Como les comente a otras nenas del foro, si tu ya tienes tu paquete de instrucciones, no debes llenarla.

Porque tu proceso ya estaba en curso antes de la modificacion.
