Hey, guys! I also got my NOA today on 11/18/2006 with the receipt day of 11/14/2006. Woooohooo! I didn't get my biometric appointment yet, though.... Oh and I signed myself online up to get e-mail updates about my case status as I have my application number, finally.

The only weird thing - it says they received my paperwork on October 31....whoah! It took them literally 1 month to come into conclusion that they finally got it. (My check was cashed on the last day of Septemeber! )

Naturalization:

June 6, 2009 - mailed N-400

June 8, 2009 - delivered to the Lockbox at 2:47 PM

June 11, 2009 - check cashed

June 15, 2009 - received NOA1 (June 10th - NOA1 date)

June 22, 2009 - received biometrics letter

July 10, 2009 - Biometrics

July 27, 2009 - Interview Letter received

September 16, 2009 - Interview @ 1:40 PM (Approved!)

September 26, 2009 - Oath Letter received

October 14, 2009 - Oath Ceremony @ 11:00 AM

I am a U.S. Citizen!

October 23, 2009 - applied for US passport

October 29, 2009 - US Passport received

November 6, 2009 - updated SSN

We're on a very similar schedule to Tata.

We got NOA1 for the I-751 from CSC today, Nov 18. The notice date printed on the I-797C is 11/14/2006. We sent it by certified mail with return receipt, so we know they received the package on 11/01, and we mailed it on 10/25. Total turnaround time was about three weeks from dropping the I-751 in the mail to getting NOA1 in hand.

One thing about those Service Center Timelines is that they are always a bit behind. I remember my wife received approval for her I-129 and had already scheduled her appointment with the embassy in Brazil, while the Texas Service Center was still showing they were "processing" ones received a month before I sent hers.

Regarding I-751 timelines, I sent hers in to Texas in mid-July and after a flurry of activity with a Biometric appointment and a NOA two weeks later, we've heard nothing. I guess it's going to be the full 6 months as it says on the NOA.

07/18/06 filed to Texas - NOA 07/23/06 and biometrics appointment for 08/04/06 in Atlanta. Nothing since ...
