We filed the petition on Octber 2nd. We received NOA 1 that said the case being forwarded to CSC on October 11. I check my online status everyday and the case is still in 'acceptance' process until now. I thought it would moved to 'initial review' after almost a month. Anyone has any idea on this matter?

Thanks

The online system is unreliable and doesn't reflect what is actually happening with your case. It means nothing.

ROC:

My wife's I-130 still shows pending online from 2008. She got her citizenship last month. The online status is useless.

If we pull back the curtian we wont even find the Wizard. There isnt a staff sitting there updating the info as we would like or think. The on line info is never current and seldom correct. Keep in mind they are working on 2.5 million cases.

You are lucky to have gotten NOA 1 that fast and to have the case forwarded. You have months to wait now until NOA 2. This is a very difficult journey that takes longer than we think it should for reasons we dont understand. During the wait you will have little success getting info you think you need. This is just part of it. Thats why V J is here.
