I strongly advise anyone over the 6 month mark to contact your congressman! We did and got approved within 48 hours! Do not despair..this morning I was crying and praying and losing hope and then..bang! Yours is coming!! Keep the faith and lean on your love! I called them today and asked to speak to a Tier 2. The lady was very rude and kept asking why. I told her it was about processing times. So she did her whole "oh they are on Oct 15, 2013 so it's not past your time yet." She told me that I would have to wait at least another month before they would probably even get to my case! She kept going on and then asked if I needed anything else. I told her yes I wanted to speak to a tier 2. Shes like are you demanding to speak to one? I then replied with I would like to speak to one please. So finally! she put me on the line with one. I was on hold for about 52 minutes before one came on the phone. 52 minutes is nothing when you've already waited 6.5 months lol. The lady was extremely nice. I was worried at first but all my worries went away. After she asked a few questions she put me back on hold for about five minutes. Once she came back she told me that an office was assigned to my case and if we don't hear something by June 1st that we should call back. I'm guessing that means we should hear something very soon and hopefully that's a NOA2!!!

I am si dissapointed at this moment. I just finished talking to a lady who would not transfer me to a tier 2 to talk about my case. The only information she can basically tell me is the same damn thing I can check on the website so what the use of her being there the computer can give us the processing times.

Umm, do you know about FASTING?

If you can, you can do a 12 hours fasting on Saturday or Sunday. There's also a 24 hours fasting. It teaches me to believe that not only lean on love or lean on something or someone but lean on God and i saw amazing things God has made in my life.

My fiancé and I do the fasting since we got engaged because we knew that we need God's help in this journey. So we did that on Fridays every 6 pm to Saturdays at 6 pm

And it works for us.

Nov 28 (NOA1 date) filer here..i got my text here at 515pm hawaii time which said my case was updated...(fingers crossed)...APPROVED!!...fyi i also submitted a waiver request

for all the other November VSC filers, i just got through to a Tier 2 rep after sitting on hold for 2.5 hours.. I told them that I wanted an update on the status of my case, that even though their normal processing times now state Oct 15th that my status had been out of their previously posted processing times for a month before they changed them and that now that Dec and Jan filers are having action taken and are being moved from VSC i wanted an update on my case. He created a service request and said that I would hear by June 8th. If you all haven't called yet call and if you've called already call again!!

I would follow up with a call first thing Tuesday morning (since Monday is a holiday) and i would keep calling until they tell you what you want to hear or get that NOA2! You are in my thoughts..I know it's so unbearably hard Do whatever it takes but don't give up..I hope you get that approval soon!!

Thank you!!! congrats to you as well!!!! We will only be doing something small in (hopefully) August or September..As soon as his gorgeous self is here LOL! But next May, we are planning on having the big wedding here. We are going to have an outdoor wedding with a vintage touch. Lots of peonies, white roses and hydrangea flowers..We already have everything planned Actually we have for years haha We have been waiting for this day for soooooooooo long!

I can't wait to see the photos too. What a special moment for everyone! It makes me happy to see true love conquer it all..including the distance

I'm in Ghana visiting my Boo. I got here on the 23rd and just checked my email today. We were approved yesterday!! He was driving when I saw the email, so he had to contain himself, but I screamed and cried. He even went to buy credit for his phone so I could call my mom to share the good news. I couldn't stop crying for about 30 minutes...sooo happy!! And it was so nice to get the news while here with him!! :-D :-D
