USCIS website I-751 case number does not exist??

Hoping someone has had a similar situation as this one because I'm stumped...

I just tried adding my wife's EAC# to the USCIS profile website, but got an error "Attempting to add a case that does not exist. Check the application receipt number."

My wife's 2-year green card expired on 10/19, and we applied for her I-751 on 7/19. The receipt came in on 7/26, and she had her biometrics in August. I'm thinking we're ok here, but I'd like to be able to check the status. Has anyone had a similar error? Also, is there any other way for me to check the status?

You're using the number from the Biometrics letter yes?

No, I used the I-751 Receipt notice. I was just talking to my wife about using that number instead

EAC on biometrics worked :) Thanks

If you read the receipt notice, bottom paragraph, it says words to the effect of once you receive the ASC appointment notice you can check the status online. I don't know how many of us read the entire thing though :P

Glad it works now :)
