Hi,

Can anyone please help me out with how much time does U.S. embassy new delhi takes for administrative processing in case of 221(g)

I was interviewed by consulate on sept 18th and they told me that my case seems to be fine and they will contact.

I got a call from US embassy last friday, they sent me a letter but was sent back to embassy due to some address problem and they reconfirm me the address and took the landmark also.

But i did not receive anything yet.

I tried contacting them today and they said that the embassy will either issue me 221(g) letter or will check my passport and other documents.

please anyone can tell me how much time they will take to issue the visa or how much time they will take for this administrative processing,

no time frame for admin processing

Got ds 3032 :23 March 2010

Interview : 09-09-2010 Result :Administrative Processing

In december 2010 priority dates retrogessed and wait priority date current again in

MARCH 2012 2nd

Medical submit :07 March 2012 Result :Administrative Processing

3rd Medical submit :28th Feb 2013 Result Administrative Processing

4th Medical submit :26th Feb 2014 Result :Got email reply from embassy that they will call me for finger prints and oath ..and still waiting Got call for finger prints and oath

on 12th MAY Went for finger prints and oath :21th May Result :ApprovedVisa Issued :22.05.2014

 

visa Issued Today after 3 years 8 months and 13 days

Green Card fee paid : 05/06/2014

Poe :17/06/2014

Ssn Received :27-06-2014

Green Card Produced and Mailed :07/22/2014

Got 10 YEAR Green Card :25/07/2014

It really depends up to case to case, and what they need, what they are reviewing for your case file. Timeframe: May take up to a week, and can take longer time. Timeframe is not certain. You can call DOS to check the current status for your case.

Hi All,

just to update that US Embassy people visited my place a week ago.

they also went to some neighbours and confirm about the marriage.

and they took my home pics and everything.

Now how much time they will take to proceed further to issue visa.

please give me any idea in this case how much time they take to make decision

no dear i am still waiting for my visa

i dont know how much time they will take

i think they should understand after doing the enquiry that we are into constructive relationship of husband and wife

Hi,

Its already been more than three months now I did not get any reply from US Embassy.

Anyone can help me to find out how much time they will take to send me update regarding the same.

Even I am not aware of what should I do in this situation.

My lawyer send the inquiry to Embassy and they replied that my case is still under administrative processing.

Please give me any idea how much time they will take.

Hi everybody my wayfe she gat visa she pass intervew but After they give her visa They take the Visa from possible and they give her 221g so What minsse And how long it takes ? Thank you

My visa got denied.

and my file is sent back to USCIS and my lawyer in dallas got notification says that USCIS kept my file under processing

my lawyer said we need to wait till the next notification comes as i already got the denial i am worried to start up my family as soon as possible.

any suggestions what should i do now and how much time it takes to get my file approved.

I am sorry I cannot offer any idea about the next steps but my prayers are always with you, keep the faith you will reunite with your spouse!!
