My husband was placed on AP - his interview was October 9, 2012. I was just curious (i know that we dont know an exact time ever) how long it took you or your other to be approved.?

The thing is..... the way VJ members get the data to tell people how long each step in this process takes............. is from people kind enough to share their timelines of their own visa process.

So, when people do not fill out their timeline then we do not have data to share

I am sure there are many more that do not fill out their timeline. Those people just want the data and they are selfish not to share their own timelines

I think having timelines and data is very helpful to others. It helps calm people to know how long each person took in this process.

This data is powerful. People can see that some people wait 7 days for their visa and most men will wait 2 months. Some men with common names like Ahmed and Mohamed may wait in AP for many months. But some Ahmeds and Mohameds do not get AP at all.

I hope you decide to fill out your timeline to help others as these peoples data has helped you

I would fill out my timeline everyone but I had my case origonally handled by a law office and I am unsure of the dates things where sent out because I provided the documents to them and they would mail them out. So my filling it out isnt going to help many people seeing as it wont be right or even accurate. Thats why i dont have it filled in, im not doing it to be selfish. If i could help people i would but i dont wont to use dates not even close. But Thank you for that big time line that helped a lot !!

All dates for noa1 and noa2 are on the mail they sent. Or on the uscis website. Nvc can be obtained by calling them. And you know your interview datw. But I understand.

Me too. My husband interview same day and still no info. I called everyone could think of and all say same. Just wait. Help this is killing me
