I mailed in my I-130 packet to begin the process of getting my husband is permanent residence. I have received notice they received it but it doesn't show up in My Case Status yet. My question is: Can I mail my I-864 Sponsorship form in? Or I should I wait until it has been "accepted" and they send me more info? Thanks. Melissa

Op, your profile shows K3- that visa is obsolete and if you are looking to send in a I-864, you are on the CR-1 spousal visa path.

No, you will have to wait for them to send you a letter of Notice that they have received and also cashed your cheque and its called NO A1. After this, then the waiting game begin till you receive an approval that your petition is ok and that means NOA 2, then they will send it to NVC, that is where all your AOS forms will be needed.Don't forget that this is for CR-1 Spousal Petition
