aloha all,

my fiance is cambodian, we are working thru the thai embassy in bangkok.

i see on the website that out interview is scheduled for december 1, 2006 ( hooray !! ) however, we, or i have not yet received our packet 4 telling us of our interview. because my brother did not receive his packet 4 untill 2 weeks before the actual interview date i would like to prepare for this potential eventuality.

could anyone please tell me what is contained in the packet 4?

could you please tell me what documents that the packet 4 will ask me to bring to the interview?

my brother told me that there is an exact order and exact method of presenting said documents, is this so? and, is there some link around here that i have missed that perhaps points this out?

i am very thankful for anyone that could share any information or advice that could help with our upcoming culmination of our visa journey.

mahalo, eric and sreyon.

SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION - after my wife made it to the USA, family emergency neccesatated her immediate return to her home in cambodia. unfortunately before she was able to adjust her status, thus the case was abandanded. we now are filing both k-3 (married in usa) and have petioned both i-129f and 1-130 .....so, our "journey" has once again began. thank you for all your help and understanding - appleegg and sreyon.

eric,

As I recall there is a letter giving the interview date and 3 other instruction sheets. One of them gives the instruction for paying the visa fee at a Thai post office.

I don't recall that the consulate is overly strict about the order and method of submitting documents when arriving at the consulate, although many people consider the woman working at the window where the documents are turned in to be a Class A ######.
