Hi guys, Thank God for this VJ ! you really don't need a layer you all are like family just ready to give the best advise you know how.

the only thing i'm sorry is that I didn't know about this site when we first started becz trust me i would had less STRESS just learning from others experience.

But I have a few questions that I would like to ask.

My husband is filing for my Son and I who is 18yrs we both have B2 Visa travel to the US quite a bit. our last visa renewal my son was still a miner so they didn't really ask him any questions,

So my concern now is, for this CR1 visa will the both of us have the same interview date and will we both interview together or, are they going to separate us? and what questions if any do they ask my son.

Thank you, I look forward for the helpsmilie.gif

If God is for me who can be against me!

If you have already sent in your DS-230 and AOS package your case may be complete by now. Call NVC as find out your case complete date. If the case is complete you should get your email for the interview about 1-3 months after that. Most persons seem to get the interview letter emailed to them within 6 weeks of your case complete date.

If the I-130 were sent in the same package and processed together then you will get the same interview date. You will get separate numbers when you go to the embassy but you will be interviewed together. When they call the first number number you should point out to the CO that you also have a number.

They will concentrate on questioning you. Your son may be asked who is filing for him and if he has travelled out of the country. He wont be asked much.

Good luck.

If your cases have been processed together, the interview will be together as well. They seldom ask questions of children.

If you paid one $88 fee for both, the cases are joined together at NVC and will continue to be processed together.
