WE FILED IN VERMONT, IM MEXICAN, MY FIANCE LIVES IN NYC. WE NEVER RECEIVED RFE, MAYBE BECAUSE WE SENT A PACKAGE FULL OF PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EVIDENCE. EVEN THOUGH WE FILED IN EARLY FEB WE GOT THE RFE-IMBRA. WE RESPONDED, THEY SENT A NOTIFICATION OF SUPPLEMENT RECEIVED ON AUGUST 2006 AND THAT IS ALL THAT WE HAVE. *NO TOUCHES* NEVER!!!!!!!

WE HAVE SPOKEN TO A CONGRESSMAN 3 TIMES AND THEY JUST SEND E MAILS AND ADVICE US TO WAIT 30 DAYS FOR EVERY MAIL SENT.. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!?

PLEASE HELP ME.. :crying::help: IF SOMEONE KNOW WHAT CAN WE DO? KITKAT, IF YOU ARE AROUND HERE...

WHO WE SHOULD TO SPEAK TO?

HOW DO WE WRITE A LETTER TO A SENATOR?

WHAT SHOULD IT SAYS?

SHOULD WE WRITE TO SOMEONE IN VERMONT CENTER.?

TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE US..??

DO YOU GUYS THINK OUR CASE IS LOST? STOLEN? IN THE TRASH? FORGOTTEN?

DOES THE PETITION HAVE A TIME FRAME..? COULD BE EXPIRED BEFORE NOA 2.?

BESOS Y ABRAZOS! I APPRECIATE YOUR TIME AND HELP.

-BRENDA

That is excessive. Sounds like they lost your petition, even their website indicates working on cases from April. You now have a reason to call them and see what is up.

Also have you registered for notification on USCIS website? There may be an explanation of case status there. https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Your congressman needs to be made aware that you are far beyond the normal processing times for your petition, and also needs to quit accepting the canned replies of the USCIS 800 number. I'd take a trip down to your congressmans office personally and explain that SOMETHING IS WRONG! I'd demand that they do more for you. Perhaps somone else can offer a suggestion as to what more they can do, but I'd think it might involve faxing a letter and requestint a written response from the service center.

9 months is a long time and I can imagine your distress and frustration (F)

In your timeline it states Sep 1: Contacted Senator: "Your case is with an adjudicating officer", so doubtful it is lost. As you haven't heard anything and it has been with an adjudicating officer, there is a good chance you are now held up in background/security checks.....name hit etc.

Another call to your congressman would not go astray, even if at least to find out for sure if it is in background checks.

All the best to you.

Oh Brenda, I was just wondering what happened to you! Lorelle made an important point - that your case was with with an adjudicating officer in early September so at least it is not lost. I would ask your fiance to contact his senator's office (instead of congressman's office) because in my experience they are more effective. He may need to push them, but hopefully they can get you a definitive answer on where your case stands. Besos y suerte!
