I'm still hanging in there, the smile isn't as wide but still there. The Consulate has been trying to get the packet 3 to me since Jan. 4th, it was returned to them twice even though the address and postal code were correct, now I am having it sent to my home, it was mailed on the 13th and hopefully will get is soon, if not here by Friday I have to call them back. This is not the time for screw ups, too close to the end, but not so close that Sharon won't pack up and come here in the batting of a eye lid.

09/22/2006 - Received at NSC
09/28/2006 - NOA-1 (1-797C date )

10/02/2006 - Cheque cashed

10/02/2006 - NOA 1 (I-797C recieved in the mail)

12/08/2006 - NOA-2 in 79 days

12/13/2006 - NOA-2 hard copy recieved

12/26/2006 - Package recieved by NVC

12/30/2006 - Received by Montreal

01/22/2007 - Received Packet 3

04/16/2007 - Returned Packet 3

08/02/2007 - Received medical documentation

08/07/2007 - Received Interview date Aug. 9th

08/09/2007 - Received I-601 and 212 (not approved yet)

02/17/2008 - I-601 approved 212 abandoned

06/2?/2009 - New medical and passport and doc sent to Mtl

07/22/2009 - Recieved request for DS-221 and notarized letter of intent

07/31/2009 - Montreal recieves thier final requested doc.

09/01/2009 - Visa approved and mail out today

I haven't posted on VJ yet, but my fiance and I submitted our K1 to the VSC on December 21st 2006. NOA1: December 22nd. Just got the NOA2 via email today: January 18th 2007. Much quicker than we anticipated. I'll send updates as we go.

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png

Well, hubby recieved a letter today requesting missing information. They want the custody papers (we had sent a copy in when we first sent the I-130, before we knew about VJ) and they also want a notarized letter from my daughters father saying he gives permission for her to immigrate.

why oh why couldnt this have been told to us MONTHS ago? i mean, damm, they recieved our packet 3 on november 13, over 2 months ago, so that means were gonna have to wait at least ANOTHER 2 months for our case to be complete, and another 1-2 months after that for our interview :cry::cry:

just our luck, we have had nothing but delays this entire process, we first sent our I-130 way back in september 2005 for gosh sakes, and its taken over a year to get to this point. i am so frustrated:cry:

May 23 2007 IS OUR INTERVIEW, PLEASE PRAY FOR US!

I know it's frustrating, but at least now there is some action on your case. Just get those papers in fast so you can put this all behind you.

Added emt103c .. it looks like Montreal is consistently taking about 3 months for the IR/CR1 interviews from case complete at NVC. Hopefully now that all the holidays are well and truly over they will start building some momentum and get everything done faster :)

Note: I immigrated from Canada, not T&T - the timeline is reflective of this.

Aug ?? - mailed I-130 packages for both mother and father
Sept 10 - NOA1 date
Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png
