Congrats to EVERYONE!!! I really really really hope another VJ'er gets Nov 7, would be nice to have that moral support.

Is Hotel La Tour Centre Ville the one right across from the Consulate?

Mary

It is the one right across the street but if you are looking for a nicer experience then you may want to look at some other options. They Hyatt looked pretty nice and is only a block away.

Sharon and I never had the chance to stress very much, our appointment was a total surprise and about 2 months before we expected it and with only 2 days notice there was no time to panic and thank god everything was ready to go, just needed to get my butt to Montreal. These days Sharon and I are still very much in love with each other and talk as often as possible which means she calls me at 9 a.m. before going to bed, I call her at 5 p.m. to wake her and spend 2 hours with her before she is off to work and then I call her a 2 a.m. her time 3 a.m. during her lunch break. We have no time to argue because we are busy supporting each other through each day still hoping for a quick end and being together soon.

(L)(L) Love the whole danmed bunch of you, thanks for letting us use you to keep our sanity intact. (F)(F)(F)

Laughter is the key to not losing it...the mind, that is.

One more thing: control is an illusion.

Let go. Life becomes so much simpler.

:star:

You're absolutely right, I'm going out to buy a pack of Depends right away.

Liz, it seems to me that not knowing is the most stressful part of the experience. How many people have been refused a visa at MTL? Just one (sorry Ron) and he's going to get in soon. Laughter is the best way to relieve stress, so it looks like I'll have to redouble my efforts and tighten my Borscht belt. :)

Len are you a meteorologist, 'cuz for some reason you keep giving out the Heatherforecast. :P

BTW, I agree with you Liz, a day-glo orange shower curtain with a paisley pattern isn't my first choice either.

Well we are the chosen ones for a reason, but the good thing in all of this is that we are the only ones so lets just keep it that way, we are in no need nor do we want to have company. For getting it soon that is our wish, dream and part of the nightly prayer. The best part of this is that we continue to grow stronger together with every passing day and we always look forward to tomorrow for tomorrow may be the day that we get the COME ON DOWN call from Montreal.

It's actually funny how far apart Montreal and Toronto are, when people speak of them they talk like they are next door :)

I hope your cousin does drop you off, at least you will have someone to talk to to calm ye ole nerves.
