So I have been calling the DOS and NVC just about everyday since our case got there on 10/1,ok let me be truthful it has been everyday(I have to much time on my hands). I was finally told a week or so later that I was in "Additional Processing". I read some of the horror stories here and was hoping for the best but expecting the worst. So when I called the DOS earlier today and was told our case was still at the NVC office, I thought to myself hopefully Monday we would have better news. Then around 8pm I thought what the hell the NVC office is still open lets just see what they say. After 2 tries(phone issues) I finally got the news we have been waiting to hear!!! Our case has been completed as of today and sent to the Consulate. WHOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!! Me and my sweetie will be celebrating with some Brugal this weekend. I want to THANK EVERY ONE here on VJ for all of your updates, reviews, and posting your experiences. I would have been more of a nervous wreck then I already am if not for this board. I know that I still have a ways to go, but I know VJ will continue to provide me with the help and information I need to get there. AGAIN MANY MANY THANKS.

Congratulations...from one of the 'horror stories':thumbs::dance:

We were stuck there nearly 8 weeks, so I am pleased to see how much times have come down from then!

LOL..imagine that...I'm famous

It is still a good thread for info, even though it got so big it was locked. I'm delighted things have come so far and times have come down so much. At least now people know that AP can happen at that stage, which we did not.

.

Congrats again, smooth sailing form now on
