OK, so I just called the NVC to check the status of my case. The guy told me that the case is completed (already knew that). Then he placed me on hold for like 5 minutes. He came back to tell me that, once I have received the email from them with the appointment information, that is when my husband can schedule his medical appointment.

I said wait a minute, will my husband receive his packet in the mail with all his stuff for his medical appointment and his slip for the interview??? He said "NO,NO,NO miss, he will not receive anything in the mail. All he will received is an email, that he will print off with his information. WTH is going on???? I am really confused?? :help:

You will get an Email indicating Interview Date, this is Packet-4, just print it out and schedule medical.

Ok, well that is crapola!! What if my husband has no computer printer to print this stuff on? I thought he would receive the packet in the mail, not via email.

you should be happy. email is faster than the snail mail service in jamaica. all he has to do is go to an internet cafe, and print the letter, its that simple

I am going to say this but I am not being mean, there are plenty of internet cafes in Jamaica he does not needs to be computer savy, he just needs an email, and ask someone at the cafe to print out his interview date page.

He will need the interview date paper to present for the medical. He doesn't even need to print it out, if he has a BB and he is using it to surf the internet he can just show his email to the doctors office. Again, those who doesn't have the internet at home in Jamaica, are using their bb.

But he will need the print out interview paper to get into the consular for the interview.

BTW, have you provided the NVC with his email address. (make sure it works and he can access it to get the letter) he just need 1 copy

Yea they have 3 emails on file. I can just print it and send it overnight with his final package. Thanks,.I forgot I was sending something anyway.

He goes to a copy center in the business section, pays for time on an internet connection computer, and prints it out there.

All be done in less than 30 minutes, so plan $$ accordingly.

If I were you, I would be making plans to be there for the interview. The documents that he will need from you will be the one he will need for the interview.

Well, I cant afford to be there. I work full time and have my daughter. Furter more he will get his packet. Ive sent several overnight package and he has already receive many wirhin 48 hours after shipping. Is there a problem with my plan. Ive made 3 trips already. Just got a promotion and cant leave we have a huge code release at work. Why is this a problem.
