they have to me no more than 30 days old..so yes you have to get updated photo's taken...

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Our passport photos were soooooo old.... I crossed out the date and pretended ike I was underlining my fiance's name... oopsies! Still got approved with no RFE's. I amn ot saying that youshould do the same though...... I just wanted to get it sent out.

30 days is the requirement when submitting passport photos with the initial petition but to my knowledge there is nothing in the packets that I have read from consulates that states that passport photos have to also be taken within the past 30 days. Whilst yes I applied for a CR-1, the photo requirements are the same, and I submitted passport photos that where 6 months old as I hadn't changed my appearance to any great degree (few extra gray hairs :blush: )

If anyone that could cite from a packet they received that stated any specific time requirement, can you let it be known please.

Yes same for us, the passport photo I sent in attached to my fiance's G-325A is the same fhoto that in her passport, the photo was 11 months old.
