Tax Transcripts copies accepted & Proof of 3 months in state

Hi Everyone!

Well its almost immigration time again... And the end is finally in sight!

I have a couple of N400 questions:

My first question is about tax transcripts. I ordered them before moving 3 months ago and have them ready to go. I was going to send them as is with my packet, however i read that you also have to bring tax transcripts to the interview... Can I just send copies of the transcripts with my packet then bring originals to interview or should I reorder an additional set (not easy to do since IRS have our old address)?

One more question - by the time I file my husband and I will have been living in our current state over 3 months. While we did do the USCIS address change within 10 days of moving we never got any real proof that this was filed. To avoid a potential RFE I was wondering if I should include a lease copy with the application? As my driver's license was issued about a month after moving (so would show a little under 3 months in present state).

I really don't know what method they use to prove your residency. But some times it is hard to prove exact dates. I think you should be ok to apply as long as you do not purjure your self in the application.

I don't know what you mean by purdure?

Our lease shows a June 9th move in date and I file November 7th. So I think our dates are pretty easy to prove.
