Files submitted on October 12th

Files with letters from my husband's parents, grand mother and his best friend to prove that we both are in a serious relationship.

USCIS received my files on October 13th

USCIS mailed my husband a NOA1 on October 15th

USCIS approved my files on March 22nd

The case status is Post Decision Activity

Waiting for NOA2 to be arrived..

Finally!

To be patient worth it. My husband who is a petitioner didn't have a info pass interview or any other evidences to send to USCIS. My husband who is a petitioner lives in Nebraska and our case number was sent to MSC. And I'm Japanese citizen currently living in Tokyo.

Hope all of you get approved as soon as possible! We were about to make an appointment for the info-pass interview tomorrow on the 28th. Sooooo stoked!!!

My husband was gonna make an appointment to have an interview to try to make them put a inquiry paper with our files. That's it.

Oh, I see, you were going to have one but you're not now. Got it, thanks!

I gotta tell ya, I am in much relief and joy about the I-130 approval.

What I got in was not an RFE, but a NOID - and the rebuttal I prepared had me very nervous - there were 2 essays and another pile of evidence. Along the way, I got yet another letter from the local office stating that they wanted me to come in to go over the file, but that I had to make an infopass appointment and come in. I did the drop off with the RFE rebuttal sometime around 6 March, but was on tenterhooks since then.

Anyway - the earliest I could get an infopass was 25 March, so I went in and learned that my I-130 was approved on the 23rd and in a pile to go to NVC. about 2 hours after returning from the appointment, my status changed on the status portal thingie. My official approval date is the 25th, so yay ! I am still waiting on the postal notification, but that's ok...

It was such a relief, I was so ecstatic Monday afternoon.

My NOID stuff wasn't 'normal' - we had some red flags to document and overcome, but in the end, I was successful... whew !

On a lark, I called NVC last night, and of course they don't have my stuff ;) ya ya ya...

Thanks for all the well wishes, and good luck to those of us, The Oct filers, still a waiting. Go Get Em !
