APPROOOOOOVEEEDDDDDD!!!!

Ok here is the story : I went today for an interview. The officer just went through the I-130 and asked some basic questions and after 10min said ok you are approved and you will get the notice this week. He said the system was down otherwise he would have done it right away.

So, if you get an interview don't worry... and don't listen to the ones who tell you you must be a criminal:-)....

The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

How very weird that the interview happened (first one Ive seen)! But congrats on moving on forward! Yay!

I start thinking if you get an interview it is a good thing as you know you will be approved if your case is straight:-)

My husband just came in and told me, "pet, you worry yourself sick every day about something that might not happen and if it does happen we'll worry about it then." He is worried, not about immigration, but about me. :wacko: I think I'd better just take a break from this ####### till I run the numbers on Sunday or have something better to report.

WoWWWW!!!

These guys are so fast. I did the interview this morning at 9am and I just received the NOA2 in text message and ly case was updated on line to show approved!!!

I'll pop champagne tonight!

Please trust me I do understand the the pain each one is going through waiting. When I received the interview notice I was devastated but I knew my case was straight and I went very confident.

Wish you all a very fast closure and hang in there it will come!!!

Thank you all for the support along the way. Compassion is valuable!

Yugo - I am so stupid - I had one prep question for you.

After the interviewer is finished - ask him -

WHEN will the casefile be shipped to NVC? If you guys do it in batches, one per month, could you, instead, ship it out this week?

Oooppsss... sorry I would have asked the question as the interviewer was pretty friendly. I hope they will send my case to NVC fast. I think San Antonio seems very fast anyway so keeping fingers crossed.

This is all great news i think we all needed a boost for a min we were kind of flatline but jow everyone is so excited . Am happy and i hope we all get approved as well soon .

Ugh, So hubby got off the phone with an ISO who told him that our case is at NBC. However, nothing specific is showing up leading him to believe it is still waiting to be processed! Does anyone know what that means? Does that mean we are just sat in line waiting, or does it mean our case was mailed there back in October and hasn't even been picked up yet? Just so disheartening! I was so hopeful, and based on what he's said I'm thinking March will be a more likely approval time for us :( :( :(

06/07/08 .. Met while working through Camp America programme in Maryland.

06/02/12 .. Got Married in Inverness, Scotland.
