finally got approved today. thanks to all for ur help

got message on mobile that case was updated ,when i checked online it said case approved.

congratulations!

09/15/2012: Got Married
09/26/2012: Mailed I-130 from Nigeria( delayed by customs)
USCIS stage ( 66 days)
10/12/2012: NOA 1
12/17/2012: NOA 2 (case was transferred to NYC office 11/27/12)
NVC stage ( 20 days)
01/08/2013: Case # and IIN assigned ( file arrived NVC mail room 12/20/12)
01/09/2013: AOS invoiced and paid, DS-3032 emailed and mailed.
01/16/2013: IV invoiced &paid. AOS & IV mailed in one package(arrived 01/18).
01/28/2013: Case complete!!!
04/19/2013: Interview; APPROVED!!!!!
05/13/2013: POE; JFK

The DCF petitions are treated very differently. From all indications those of us residing in non-DCF countries are remaining at NBC to be processed.

But was your case transferred to the field office in federal plaza . They told me as of 11/28 it was transferred and dat the field office will contact me .

Its so stressful , i got an appointment to go on january 3 to federal plaza for follow up .

Vermont Service Center. Many of them are still waiting from March, even though VSC says they're working on May right now, for their NOA2. People who have filed after Aug 15 seem to be fast tracked for the moment. It is not normally this fast and everyone should feel fortunate that it has been and lucky if it continues.

Exactly, good luck to them and us. I also am going to the NYC field office on Jan 3rd... it's rediculous that it's been nearly 3 months and my case is still not visible online, yet was transferred almost a month ago to the local field office.

Exactly. I have no desire to go to the office if I don't have to. I'm kind of expecting if I do go, I get a "your case is fine, and is being processed, there's nothing to worry about" response, and i'll have wasted my time going, just like the hours spent calling and waiting in a 1 hour or longer queue.

I just hope the case shows up online, at least I'll have some sort of confidence that there's progress being made.

I'll update if I get any notice. Jan 3rd is just around the corner... blush.gif
