Entering Application Receipt Number in your USCIS Portfolio

Does anyone know how long does it take until I can enter that receipt number from the NOA? I tried to enter it today when we received the NOA but it is telling me that it is invalid...? Does it take some time until it is inside their system? I don't remember having this issue before.

I think when you receive it in the mail it will work on the site.Been through so much since December I can't remember sorry

Are you sure you are entering EAC or WAC than number? Did you register the number first?

You need enter Appointment Notice number,For me only just this working,NOA number is not working for me.

I just found out, apparently it tells you on the NOA notice that once you receive your Biometrics letter, that's when you can check your status online. Thank you all

There is only one option to add items, "Add a case to your portfolio" button. I enter the WAC followed by the number (no dashes, like it tells you) but I get invalid number. It's most likely because I haven't received my BIO letter yet like someone else stated

Of course, how else would I know my WAC number, other then calling USCIS
