ok, so i have read some of the forums on a pregnant fiance who needs to go to America to meet her husband to be. My delima is that I am here. A U.S. citizen in the Ukraine. My Fiance and I have known eachother for 2 years, and now I have been here for quite a few months. She is now pregnant, and I need to get her to the U.S. and marry her. The reason I can not marry her here is that I do not have the Apostile Stamp from the Secetary of my state authorizing my papers are legal, but i have the US Consulate approving them with their stamp, and the notorized part from the U.S.Consulate, along with the Department of Legalization from the Ukraine , but I need an embossed Stamp on a piece of paper to say other things too, it seems to be terribly required.

My Fiance seems to thing that she will not be allowed by the Ukraine, to go to America with me, could someone point me in the right direction to find proper information about this subject? I am terribly confused on this matter as I thought it was just a process of filing for the proper Fiance Visa, attaining it and going to America.

Also, is there some requirement of me for the marraige in America other than the general requirements needed for a regular marraige normally in America?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Welcome to the forum.

Here is a good informative visa FAQ page from the Department of State, you would do well to take the time to review it:

Good luck on your visa journey.
