Hi everybody, we have just sent our petition yesterday and of course I found a mistake now!

In our supplement to I-129f question- 'how we met...' we wrote a one page letter telling our story, with all the dates when we met and all that.

But at the end of the letter we added (now i realize, it was stupid thing to do!! why oh, why :bonk: ): 'we have decided its best for us to live in US for now, because I(petitioner) have 2,3 more years of school in US and my fiancee is planning to do her masters in US as well'.

Well we are really not sure are we going to live in US forever, maybe we move back to my home country after some time, but I dont know why, what we wrote sounds bad to me now, do you guys think we can get RFE or even get denied because of that?

Everything else in our application is normal. so idk...im getting all paranoid :help:

No.

They don't care about your love story or your future plans. They need to understand, from what you wrote, that you have met face to face, sharing the same time and space, at least once within the past 2 years.

Once they see that's established, they will look into the evidence to prove that you have, in fact, met.

The size of that box, tells your how long your answer should have been.

For example: We met at Disney World in February 2011 and proposed in December 2011 while visiting her and her family for the holidays"

So, relax. They are not going to RFE you for that, unless they are not convinced you've met.

Yes you are paranoid, which is natural at this point for you  I second guessed every answer I wrote  but for your question --you will be fine--as said above they really do not care about your long range plans

They only want to know the when and the how of meeting and establishing a relationship.
