Looks like we're in the same boat sad.png

Well...CSC seems to have the same situation as you VSC guys. I know of 2 CSC cases (including mine) that are likely having extended processing time because most of CSC October is already processed. My petition may be a bit complicated due to an IMBRA waiver request..so I'm trying to patiently accept the delay (NOA1 - Oct 11). Still, it is difficult. Sounds like both of your VSC petitons may also be having extended processing time? A Tier 2 agent at CSC told me that the adjudication agent can choose specific petitions for additional background checks...so two petitions received at the same time by the same agent can have widely varying NOA2 dates.

I am now seeing CSC October petitions (with RFE's) finally getting NOA2. It's frustrating when there is no word at all on your own petition...not even an RFE.

Well, I hope the last person leaving this thread will be kind enough to turn out the lights :-).

I hope this will be very soon.

Ok so since the very beginning (NOA1- 10/22) my receipt no has never worked. Anytime I'd enter it into the USCIS page I would get this:

Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

I heard that when ur case is finally approved, those that receipt numbers never worked, will finally work and their status will change. TODAY, I tried...and got this response:

At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

I'm thinking...that's not an approval?! So I call. They transfer me to tier-2..."your case is being processed, it's still within processing time, we're still working on OCTOBER 1st?!?!?! Really!?!?!?! Do you know what I wanted to tell him!?

Instead...I hung up.......and prayed for patience.

Yes...it IS you my friend :-(.

Â

Let me know if you hear anything from CSC...and I will do the same.

I already give birth may 14, 2 weeks earlier than expected. I had to go emergency c section. 3 days earlier before her dad gets here. But I'm glad, everything's fine for baby and me.

CSC told our representative to wait for 45 days for the decision in our case. But I guess, that's their fixed respond. Right?

I hope we get it soon. Praying for that.

Congratulations my friend!!! It is great news that you and the baby are well. Yes...too bad the dad was not there...but at least you can both celebrate the new child after the Dad arrives.

Still no news on anything here. I may go to visit my fiancée in Cebu just because I am tired of waiting for NOA2...assuming I can get time off work.

Maybe 45 days is the new fixed response from CSC...but they told my Representative 60 days. Maybe their response is related to how long you have waited? Who knows how all of this works? Let's face it...there are still a lot of approved December petitions...while our October petitions show no sign of life from CSC. How can one make sense of this?

Yes amiga...prayer may be all we can do at this point.

Again...congratulations on the new little one.

Thank you friend. Who knows we might be getting it in the same time. But I hope it's really soon. there are times that I was crying because i feel so left behind.

I honestly don't know what's IMBRA and how's it affecting your case.

I still need to keep my faith here since my fiancé has given up with the processing jumps of Csc. As of now, there are January filers approved already.

IMBRA is the International Marriage Brokers Act. There are a lot of things IMBRA covers, but the part that affects me is that you cannot automatically get your petition approved if you have had two or more K1 petitions filed in the past 2 years. In my case...I revoked the previous petitions before either fiancée got to the States (neither of the ladies had been honest with me on certain important matters). The petition CAN get approved if you ask for a waiver of the IMBRA requirement...and give sufficient reason for the request. They frequently grant IMBRA waivers...but I suspect the waiver request may delay the entire adjudication process.

I, too, have given up with CSC...but will try again after 7-1/2 months (when an escalation request will be accepted).

Ingat amiga...and God bless.

We feel like the lone stranger! NOA1 10/31/12 and I pray we will soon receive the same great news that a number of you already have. We ckeck our email about a million times a day looking for the approval email! How many more of us October fliers that have not been approved are left?
