Hi guys..Do i have to be specific in putting the purpose for cenomar? Coz someone told me that it has to be travel to USA i check mine and it says visa application. Do i have to get another cenomar?

Ok..thanks guys.. And one more thing is it ok to leave a blank in ds156? Coz she also told me that if I leave a blank in my ds156 the computer will not generate the barcode...

You’ll find, as members chime in many have travel or immigration purpose on their Certificate of No Marriage Record visa application is fine as well.

USEM is only concerned your free to marry and that’s what the certificate will show. You don't need to get another

A Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR) from the National Statistics Office (NSO) is simply what its name implies. It is a certification issued by the NSO stating that a person has not contracted any marriage. Also called a certificate of No Record of Marriage or Certificate of Singleness.

just put n/a instead of blank

For example in fax number... Business phone number and pager number.. I have to put it blank since the system won't allow me to put n/a in it... It kept on saying that only numbers are allowed...

hmm I'm able to put N/A well 'coz i used adobe reader x that allows me to edit ds-156 after i downloaded the file.

Do you have Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5.0 or higher installed on your PC

EDITBusiness phone number and pager number are working for me, not sure wahts going on at your end.

Oh My - This is the first I have heard of this... "Cenomar" Where do you aquire these? and do all countries require them? We are still waiting on our NOA 2 from Vermont.

I got the cenomar or certificate of no marriage from national statistic office here in the Philippines, i don't know if what is the equivalent of that agency in your country...
