Dear VJ'ers,

Currently I am waiting for the NOA2. I have a question regarding this matter.

I learned so far from VJ and also from many other source that, once the NVC forwards the petition to the USEM where the beneficiary lives, the USEM will then send a package.

It will contain some forms I need to fill and also a checklist of all the documents I need to present on my document screening and also interview.

My question is where will this package be sent? To my current address or to my email? As far as I can recall, I did not mention my email in the I129F petition.

I hope you can help me.

Thank you so much. :)

when you get your NOA2, you can call NVC about 10 days after to get your case # and provide them with the beneficiary email address. When the case is sent to the consulate, they will choose what method they use to contact the beneficiary instructing him / her of what to do. you can check out your regional forum to know exactly what happen @ http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Indonesia&cty=Jakarta. this link is a link to the guidelines of what the US citizen should do once the case is approved

Once you received information about your NOA2, you need to wait for a few more days to track your file to be delivered to Jakarta Embassy. Once you know DHL has delivered it, you or your fiance needs to email Jakarta Embassy to request for Package 3. The email address is jakiv@state.gov. You need to make sure the email subject in this format,

K-1, NVC Case # (JAK##########) - (the name of beneficiary)

e.g. K-1, JAK1234567890 - Jane Doe

Within 2 business days, you will receive Package 3 emails attachment.

PS:

You may begin to set Medical appointment once you received your NOA2.

Packet 3 will be send out by US embassy to your fiance ( US citizen ) email, told him to forwarding the email asap after he gets it :) The only step that 'involved us' personally with US embassy is when we respond back this packet 3 for asking Interview date.

Good luck Agnetta!

Thank you so much! I really am getting more and more anxious. I got news from fellow July filers that CSC has now begun to approving July filers and I really hope that I will get my NOA2 soon.
