San Salvador is having problems with their phone lines. I'm optimistic this is part of the reason they haven't sent their open dates to nvc yet.

You may asking about how people know if their paper is sent to their embassy from NVC.

go to the link http://www.dhl.com/e..._reference.html

For Example: write EXP 03 OCT 2012A at Shipper´s Reference, here the date should be at least one day after you get package 4.

and give date close to the date like

02 10 2012

04 10 2012

Select your country, if you find a package it can be yours (100% confirmation is not here, just a try)

hey thanks! i tried it but it didn't work for me. hehehe

Don't worry it's the matter of time.

It's not like some people from your country already got a date and you are been left along.

So your date will come soon.

I still do read posts here and pray for those in the list with blue ink waiting to hear from NVC. I kind of got busy with country specific forums discussing further interview procedures and consulate specific details to be well prepared for the interview.

Not sure. I have an inside source who works at the consulate looking into it on Tuesday (after the holiday).

However, my husband's great aunt just died (this is the fourth relative of either mine or his that has passed in the past 4 months. It's weird because every time one has passed we've gotten movement in our case. So, I'm expecting to hear of our date this upcoming week.

when are you going for medical? my wife is going on 15th

My hubby is confused when to go as it will be 2 travels to Mumbai if he goes now and then another trip before interview or should he make 1 trip by November 2nd week for medical and then stay there till he gets the visa from Mumbai VFS. Although second option saves travel it might be a little tied up... So in short, have not decided yet. He is at present trying to loosen himself from his workplace.

I suppose your wife chose Mumbai Lilavathi hospital. Are they busy?
