My fiancee wore formal modest clothing. Her interview was really easy.

Sent I-129 Application to VSC 2/1/12
NOA1 2/8/12
RFE 8/2/12
RFE reply 8/3/12
NOA2 8/16/12
NVC received 8/27/12
NVC left 8/29/12
Manila Embassy received 9/5/12
Visa appointment & approval 9/7/12
Arrived in US 10/5/2012
Married 11/24/2012
AOS application sent 12/19/12

AOS approved 8/24/13

You can wear jeans but your blouse should be a little formal.. Its like your going to go to a job interview..

better wear a pants or slacks and a formal blouse with collar.. or you can wear a formal dress.

SOme what like a business attire, but as long as your comfortable too..

DO NOT WEAR:

> Shorts

> Plunging Neckline

> Slippers

> Sando

> Micro Mini Skirts

> Fish Net Blouse

> and other inappropriate clothing.

DO WEAR:

> Flats, High Heels, Rubber Shoes, Sneakers

> Jeans, Slacks

> Blouse, Long Sleeve, 3/4 Polo Sleeves, Short Sleeves and Sleeveless (as long as not see through)

> if see through you can wore Blazer or Jacker or Scarf to cover up.

> Sunday Dress never fails.

wear something comfy cuz it's gonna be a long waiting moments.

08/22/2012- Hard copy of NOA2 received!

08/24/2012- MNL case number noted!

08/31/2012- Physical Exam at SLEC- Passed!

March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)

If it's something she'd look great wearing in a nightclub, don't wear it to the interview. Also, I'd avoid any shirts with political messages or whatever.

Do bring a sweater/jacket, don't know how the embassy there is, but in Moscow the air conditioning was insanely cold.

Business and formal are too much.  Anything from dressy casual to business casual is fine. 

I wore dark jeans, a nice tshirt and a fitted hoodie.
