My Fiance lives in Mexicali, B.C., Mexico. I live in Vacaville, CA which is 50 miles from San Francisco. How do I know where to send the I-129F., where do I find the proper Service Center and local USCIS office?

Thanks,/..yes I'm very new at this :-)

I say download the instructions because I would not want to give you an address I used last February because for all I know it could have changed. Getting the newest instructions off the website is the safest way to go.

Please read the I-129F instructions. It tells you where to mail your petition. If you missed that you may have missed other things as well. The guide here on VJ is also very helpful to follow.

You will know which service center your case is being processed at once you receive your NOA1 receipt notice. If your case# begins with EAC, then it is at Vermont. If your case# begins with WAC, then it is at California. Those are the only 2 service centers that process I-129F petitions.

Just wanted to add: if you are wanting an address to put on the letters of intent, just use the Dallas lockbox address you will mail the petition to, or do not put addresses on the letters at all. The addresses are not a required part of the letters of intent.

Your local USCIS office will be Sacramento, but the first time you should be dealing with them is when your fiancee will be in the US, after your guys will be married (you may have an interview there to adjust her status to a permanent resident). Do not worry about it for now. :)
