Hi:

I know I have asked many questions on here already...I'm sorry! but I don't want to get the wrong info... today I got my beneficiary# and invoice# as well, and I was wondering if I could make my apointment before I receive the packet 3 ?? I don't want to mess it up !! so I NEED YOUR HELP!!!! I know the only thing I need it's the invitation letter that comes in the packet 3, since I have to bring it with me to the interview... so what if I schedule the interview and I haven't received the packet yet???? what should I do ??? please tell me your stories and share your experience with me!!!

Best of luck!

Hi Mariana,

I can tell you from personal experience that you can file for an interview prior to receiving your packet 3. At least it worked for Colombia. So my advice is that before you schedule an appointment wait to hear from somebody that has filed in the same embassy as you. As this "short cut" tend to vary from country to country. Some civil surgeons will not let you schedule the medical until you have an interview. So hopefully someone with experience in Mexico wil respond to your message. Mucha Suerte!

Thanks:)

Yes I wish someone from Mexico could share their experience with me!! when did you receive your packet3?? what it would happen if you schedule your apointment and you haven't receive the packet?? you CANNOT SHOW UP AT THE CONSULATE OR THE MEDICAL without the invitation letter that comes in the pcket3...I don't want to take the chance to schedule the interview if I have no clue when the packet will arrive.... you know what I mean? :( Thanks for your advice... Good luck to you :)

I answered you in another thread. However, you can check out these two threads about the letter (that is all packet 3 is, there is nothing else but the letter) for more info about it and some people that got theirs printed at the consulate information window:
