NOA 2 Arrival

I received my NOA 1 on May 4th. Still waiting for NOA 2. It has already been four months. Should I call them or wait another month coz the processing time is 5 months for Vermont Center. I have seen various timelines where they have gotten their NOA 2 within 3 months. Since it already took this long would I get a RFE after waitng for over 5 months? Or RFE usually are sent within a month or two? I am just worried a little bit.

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between November 4, 2012 and November 9, 2012*.

You are still within processing times. If by Nov 9th (and if your timeline doesn't change) you didn't get it, THEN you can start thinking about calling.

In the meantime, there's nothing you can do but to educate yourself on the specifics the Embassy will request and such.

Welcome to the forum.

From your own timeline:

"Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between November 4, 2012 and November 9, 2012*.

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition."

Adjudicated means petition approval (NOA2). Relax, you still have plenty of time. ... Be advised that the Vermont Service Center appears to be running slow at this time this year, last year it was the California Service Center that was running slow....go figure.

During this time, become acquainted with the forum, and the loads of information available, including the K-1 flow chart, etc. (all found in the GUIDES section, accessible at the top of the forum page).

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Hang in there and give it more time. Processing time is up to 5 months - give them a call next month. As for the RFE, it varies. Some get it a week, month, months after they filed or some had no RFE at all but waited for a long time till they're approved. Best of luck to you!

I'm at Vermont and been waiting over 6 months. They're finishing February. As others said, you can use the time to read up on what you'll need to do next.

Thanks all.

@ M&R : CSC is now processing June? Is that filing date or NOA2 Date? If thats the filing date you got your NOA1 in March and I got mine in May.

Sorry - just saw this. Yes, California is finished with most of June K1s already. Look here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?cfl=

Vermont is months behind California for the K1.
