I heard in the past that the Vermont center was one of the fastest processing center.....now I read otherwise...does anyone know how they are moving?

Right now they're moving very slowly. They're processing Februrary petitions for the most part right now. When we applied in Feb. they were the faster but have hit a wall and are moving like mud.

Right now they are slow, but I see you filed last July, so hopefully they will speed up and your case may be approved in the 5 month-goal, meaning before 2013! Check your timeline, the estimated processing interval should change over time.

Be patient and get you informed on the after-NOA2.

I check my estimated date alllll the time...and it does move up...its moves up to later date!!! I know I just "started" but im so eager to have him here!!!!!

It's different all the time, I heard last year that california was the same and processing them really slow and vermont was fast, now its the other way around. There always seems to be one faster than the other, vermont is starting to pick up on approving applications though(timelines say people in march are getting approved now) so hopefully you'll get normal processing time

I had mine approved last week and I filed in March. My advice is to just ignore all the estimations cause it will make you nuts and this process drag. I stopped checking my status everyday, and at one point had to take a break from VJ. Just for peace of mind.

The estimates can drive you INSANE!!! Further you will see one approved months after you submitted your petition--- You will get many answers as to why and all are speculation, just try to ride it out the best you can

I hope not.

Mostly yes (if you live in the East coast, big chance that your file goes to VSC, if you live in the West coast, big chance it goes to CSC), but sometimes not.
