I called about 7 days after my approval, and they had it and was sending it to consulate. Call in the evening after 9:30 pm CST. You will be able to get all of you info ad questions answered.

I called after 1 week and they already had my case. After that it took less than a week for them to forward it to the consulate. Within 3 weeks of receiving my NOA2, our interview was scheduled. Hopefully yours moves fast too!

Just got my SDO number!!!!! Now what?

After I got my case number I waited a week and then called the Department of State to see if it had been forwarded to the consulate yet. They had forwarded it 2 days before I called. So it took less than a week for them to send it to Santo Domingo. I would wait a few days then call the DOS. :)
